Vingt-cinq ans après la dernière exposition qui lui était consacrée, le Jeu de Paume – Château de Tours présente du 15 novembre 2019 au 24 mai 2020 une rétrospective consacrée à René-Jacques. Étudiant en droit, ce qui le prédestinaient à une tout autre carrière, il fait très rapidement le choix de suivre la voie artistique et d'adopter définitivement son nom d'artiste, afin de s'adonner à sa passion : la photographie.
