COLLECTION DE MANIFESTES TECHNO-CRITIQUES- DISNOVATION RESEARCH GROUP

Dans le cadre de Futurs non conformes. #2 Passages à l'acte

From 01 October to 30 April 2017

Collection de manifestes techno-critiques by Disnovation Research Group inaugurates the project “Futurs non conformes. #2 Passages à l’acte” for the Jeu de Paume’s virtual space.

Disnovation is a project comprising a series of artistic and critical actions. It considers the race for innovation to be a vehicle for political and economic propaganda. It aims to rock the boat by deepening and complexifying our appreciation and understanding of this societal issue that is all too often reduced to a positivist analysis or, in other cases, to one which leads to a paralysing disquietude. The Disnovation project is a non-frontal, cross-disciplinary and deviant research project that aims to encourage a more objective approach, absurd experiments, malfunctions, sabotage, radically new ways of looking, corruptions and appropriations of both the artefacts themselves and the rhetoric of innovation.

Disnovation Research Group

Disnovation Research Group is a nomadic platform contributing since 2012 to strategically disrupt and pervert the discourses on technological innovation. Alongside artists, theorists and activists, it devises situations of disturbance, experience and debate about the social, political, ethical and aesthetic stakes of technology.

For the second cycle of « Futurs Non-Conformes », the collective presents a collection of what could be described as technocritical manifestos that identify different thought processes and critiques and which are an invitation to take action.
