Bringing together some of the artist’s shortest films, this session demonstrates her broad and varied range of interests, from physics and ornithology to orthoptera stridulation, endorheic lakes, oracles, the paranormal, and divination. Some of the films are tributes: to the Scottish physicist Michael Faraday, to the owner of a menagerie of birds of prey in England, to the book of an entomologist, and to the immense artist Nancy Holt. The films also feature three short meditations brought together under the title The Paranormal Trilogy.
