Ascii history of moving images by Vuk Ćosić is part of the exhibition “Form@ts Cycle Side Effects” proposed by Christophe Bruno in collaboration with Samuel Tronçon and Chrystelle Desbordes, for the Jeu de Paume virtual space.

Contemporary Art Pixels by Miltos Manetas is a recontextualisation of an Internet phenomenon in the world of contemporary art. The initial project, The Million Dollar Homepage, conceived in 2005 by Alex Tew, a young marketing student, set out to sell a million pixes on a Web page (at the rate of 1 dollar per pixel) to private companies, for them to insert their logo.

Miltos Manetas

Miltos Manetas (born 1964 in Athens) is a Greek-born painter, multimedia artist and theorist. His work explores the information society’s representation and aesthetics. He currently lives and works between New York and Rome.
Manetas is the Founder of the Art Movement Neen, a pioneer of Machinima and an instigator of Internet Art.
Many exhibitions have been dedicated to him worldwide, both in galleries and art centres. Charles Saatchi, famous British gallery owner and art dealer collects his works, which are also part of institutional collections such as the Museum of Contemporary Art of Strasbourg and the Fondazione Morra Graco in Naples.
Manetas participated in the « Padiglione Internet, » the first Internet Pavilion, presented at the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009.
