This exhibition uses the Ministry of Culture collections to chart the evolving representations of movie actors from the 1930s to the end of the 1970s. From the actor at work on the set, made up, lit, framed and directed, to the creation of the star and the myth, these images move between life and dream, evoking a romantic quest for the absolute.
